How to choose the right rental vehicle
We are happy to assist you personally with our rental service and advise you on your choice of vehicle. Alternatively, you can search for the right vehicle for you yourself using specific criteria:
- Number of sleeping and seating places: How many people do you want to travel with?
- Motorhome brand: Do you prefer a specific brand or does it not matter?
- Design: Choose between a panel van, alcove motorhome, semi-integrated, or fully integrated motorhome.
- Features: Are certain features particularly important to you?
- Total weight: Can the vehicle only weigh up to 3.5 tons, or do you have an additional driver's license?
- Bicycles: Would you like to take bicycles with you, and if so, how many?
- Pets: Would you like to be able to take a pet with you?

FAQ: Frequently asked questions about renting motorhomes
To rent a motorhome, you need a valid ID card and passport. You also need a valid driver's license for the selected vehicle. Please note that you can only drive motorhomes over 3.5 tons with a separate driver's license. The deposit can only be paid by credit card. So please make sure that your card is still valid.
The rental price for a motorhome depends on the type, brand, model, equipment, and any extras booked. Accordingly, we cannot give you a flat rate price in advance. However, we usually offer a suitable vehicle for every rental budget.
All our rental vehicles come fully equipped as standard. From the kitchen and bathroom to the living and dining areas, the vehicles are prepared so that all you need to do is pack your bags and you're ready to go. If you would like additional equipment beyond this high standard, you can book a wide range of extras from us. Simply ask us about this during the rental process.
Provided you clean the vehicle thoroughly, transporting a pet in our rental vehicles is normally not a problem. To be on the safe side, however, you should select “Pets allowed” as a filter in our booking system or speak to our rental advisors in person.
We generally also offer short-term rentals. If the vehicle is available on our booking portal, it can also be booked for trips at short notice. However, to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible, we ask you to make your booking at least five days before the start of your trip, if possible. This gives everyone involved enough time to discuss details and make the necessary preparations.
Our motorhomes are always professionally cleaned before you receive them. Accordingly, it is a contractual obligation that you treat our property with respect and return the rental vehicles at least superficially cleaned. This includes aspects such as:
- Wiping down all interior surfaces
- Cleaning any extras you have booked
- Emptying the waste water and fresh water tanks
- Emptying the toilet cassette compartment
- Sweeping the floor
Please note that inadequate cleaning results in additional work for us, which we may charge you for or deduct from the deposit you have paid.
Even if you drive carefully, accidents can happen. It is important that you remain calm in order to handle the process properly. All rental vehicles have comprehensive insurance packages that provide the necessary protection.
If you are involved in an accident, please call the police and file a report if the accident was caused by someone else. Please then inform us of the accident by telephone within the next 24 hours. We can then advise you and arrange for any necessary repairs.
All motorhomes available for hire come with comprehensive and partial comprehensive insurance, including liability insurance. This means you don't have to worry about a thing. We will be happy to provide you with detailed information about the exact terms and conditions and any excesses.
