FAQ: Frequently asked questions

Anyone can submit a report. This includes our own employees, our customers/clients, service providers/suppliers, other business partners, and the general public. Anyone who wishes to submit a report is generally referred to as a “whistleblower.”

Potential compliance violations (that have occurred or are highly likely to occur) can be reported in relation to the following areas, among others:

  • White-collar crime (e.g., fraud, bribery, corruption, etc.)
  • Competition and antitrust law
  • Data protection and information security
  • Insider trading and market manipulation
  • Regulation and supervision
  • Money laundering and financial sanctions
  • Human rights
  • Sales principles and regulations
  • As well as other actual or potential serious violations, such as violations of labor law

Yes, your report is confidential!

You can choose whether you want to remain anonymous or provide your name. If you decide to provide your name, we guarantee that your identity will only be disclosed to those directly involved in handling the case. If you want to submit your report anonymously, please make sure that you do not provide any information that could reveal your identity. In any case, confidentiality and your protection as a whistleblower are the top priority and guiding principle of our whistleblower system, and all reports are processed on the basis of a strict “need-to-know” principle. Your report will only be visible to those (compliance) functions to which you wish to disclose the information.

Your reports will be forwarded to the HinSchG committee via our internal reporting office for further processing. You will receive confirmation of receipt of your report within seven days and further feedback within three months at the latest.
