The Hobby PRESTIGE is available in a total of 9 layouts. These differ significantly in terms of length (from 7.52 m to 9.031 m), weight (technically permissible gross vehicle weight ranging from 1,700 kg to 2,500 kg) and the number of sleeping berths (4–7). In addition, there are special versions featuring a children’s bedroom and a children’s seating area.

For the Hobby PRESTIGE, it is likely that a standard Class B driving licence will not be sufficient. You will probably need to obtain a B96 licence extension for medium-weight trailer combinations. This can be achieved through a one-day course at a driving school.
This requirement stems from the weight: depending on the model, the Hobby PRESTIGE has a technically permissible maximum mass of between 1,700 kg and 2,500 kg. The mass in running order can easily exceed 1,900 kg – excluding luggage. This places particular demands on the towing vehicle, which must itself have a certain weight and power output.
It is therefore highly likely that the entire combination – comprising the towing vehicle, caravan and load, including passengers – will exceed the 3,500 kg limit, making a driving licence extension necessary. Ideally, you should enquire about this well in advance so that you hold the appropriate driving licence when you collect the vehicle. No, it isn’t possible to take a test drive with Hobby caravans themselves. This is simply because caravans aren’t motorised, so the driving experience itself depends heavily on the towing vehicle. However, we do offer an alternative: you can spend a trial night in the caravan on our own site. This way, you can get to know the caravan inside out.
In the basic version, the most affordable layout of the Hobby PRESTIGE is available from €36,990. Depending on the layout, this base price rises to from €45,230. However, the exact price depends on the specific specifications and any special requests. Hobby caravans are usually very well equipped as standard, so there is little need for special requests. Ideally, you should seek personal advice from schaffer-mobil to receive a reliable and personalised quote.

Hobby generally provides a 24-month warranty on new vehicles. In addition, watertightness is guaranteed for a total of 12 years, provided that the necessary maintenance intervals are adhered to.
