The Hobby DE LUXE is available in a total of 12 layouts. These differ significantly in terms of length (from 5.975 m to 7.432 m), weight (technically permissible gross vehicle weight ranging from 1,300 kg to 1,700 kg) and the number of sleeping berths (3–6). There are also special versions featuring children’s beds.

The Hobby DE LUXE can often still be driven with a standard Class B driving licence. This is due to its weight.
Depending on the model, the Hobby DE LUXE has a technically permissible maximum mass of between 1,300 kg and 1,700 kg. With additional weight, this can be increased to up to 2,000 kg. Provided that the combined weight of the towing vehicle, caravan and payload (including passengers) does not exceed 3,500 kg, you can drive the Hobby DE LUXE with a standard Class B driving licence.
However, as this calculation also depends on your towing vehicle, the chosen layout, any additional load, luggage and the number of passengers, we cannot make a general statement here. It may be necessary to obtain a B96 driving licence extension for medium-weight combinations. This can be achieved through a one-day course at a driving school.

No, it isn’t possible to take a test drive with Hobby caravans themselves. This is simply because caravans aren’t motorised, so the driving experience itself depends heavily on the towing vehicle. However, we do offer an alternative: you can spend a trial night in the caravan on our own site. This way, you can get to know the caravan inside out.
In its basic version and with the smallest layout, the Hobby DE LUXE is available from €25,310. Depending on the layout, this base price rises to from €31,920. However, the exact price depends on the specific specifications and any special requests. Hobby caravans are usually very well equipped as standard, so there is little need for special requests. Ideally, you should seek personal advice from schaffer-mobil to receive a reliable and personalised quote.
As a general rule, Hobby provides a full range of fittings. This means the caravans are already fully equipped and ready to go, and normally meet all the needs of campers on the road. Hobby generally provides a 24-month warranty on new vehicles. In addition, watertightness is guaranteed for a total of 12 years, provided that the necessary maintenance intervals are adhered to.
For second-hand caravans, you will also receive a 24-month warranty exclusively from schaffer-mobil.
