The BEACHY is a lifestyle choice. It combines the spirit of DIY campervan enthusiasts with a high-quality caravan. Compactness and that seaside feeling are always at the forefront.
Consequently, it is ideal for anyone who would like to return to the roots of camping: close to nature, simple, outdoors. By stripping things back to the essentials, the focus returns to the experience itself.
At the same time, however, it doesn’t compromise on the necessary comforts and, depending on the layout, offers sleeping space for up to four adults. We particularly recommend the BEACHY for adventurous singles, couples or small families with young children.
The four models of the Hobby BEACHY – the 360, 420, 420+ and 450 – differ significantly in terms of their length and the layout of the interior fittings. As the model number increases, the caravans become longer and therefore offer more space.
Whilst the 360 is designed for maximum compactness and to accommodate two people plus, at most, one small child, the 450 offers enough space for up to four adults. This difference in size is also reflected in the storage space and number of seats available. The four layouts are similar in terms of standard equipment and optional extras.

No, it isn’t possible to take a test drive with Hobby caravans themselves. This is simply because caravans aren’t motorised, so the driving experience itself depends heavily on the towing vehicle. However, we do offer an alternative: you can spend a trial night in the caravan on our own site. This way, you can get to know the caravan inside and out.
The Hobby BEACHY is available from as little as €15,520 for the most affordable model (BEACHY 360). The exact price depends on the chosen layout, the specific fittings and any special requests. Ideally, you should seek personal advice from schaffer-mobil to receive a reliable and personalised quote.
Hobby generally offers a comprehensive range of standard features. However, you also have the option of customising your Hobby BEACHY to suit your exact needs with a variety of individual upgrades. The options range from chassis/safety and load capacity, through to wheel rims and bodywork packages, right through to the living area, bathroom, water/gas/electrical systems and the design. Hobby generally provides a 24-month warranty on new vehicles. In addition, watertightness is guaranteed for a total of 12 years, provided that the necessary maintenance intervals are adhered to.
For second-hand caravans, you will also receive a 24-month warranty exclusively from schaffer-mobil.
