The Grand Canyon S is available in two exclusive special editions: Xperience and CrossOver. The two editions are designed to meet different needs – depending on whether you value comfort and style or maximum outdoor capability:
- Grand Canyon S Xperience: Maximum expertise. Full experience. This special edition combines exclusive aesthetics with drive-away equipment at an attractive price. You can't get more features and style than this.
- Grand Canyon S CrossOver: The CrossOver offers everything for true adventurers. Thanks to its raised suspension and all-wheel drive, every destination is within reach, and with up to 10 days of self-sufficiency, no adventure is too big.

The HYMER Grand Canyon S has a 600 floor plan and a technically approved total mass of 3,500 kg. This means you can drive it with a Class B driver's license. Due to their higher total mass, the 700 floor plan and the special editions require a Class C1 driver's license.
