Driving comfort: The city motorhome for maximum agility
One of the vehicle's greatest advantages is its compactness. With a height of 2.38 m when ready to drive, it can even be used in spacious underground garages and parking structures. The motorhome is only 2.16 m wide, making it slimmer than many SUVs. It is 5.89 m long, which is only slightly longer than a classic VW bus. This opens up unparalleled flexibility when traveling. For example, it is no problem at all to make a quick stop at the nearest supermarket parking lot in the city center or at the nearest ice cream parlor. The Knaus Tourer Cuvision 500 offers maximum freedom. Planning routes and parking spaces for shopping and trips to the nearest attraction is as easy as with a car. The lack of rear visibility through the rear window is more than compensated for by an excellent rearview camera.
Driving is also as comfortable as in a mid-range car. The 6-speed transmission is available as an automatic or manual transmission. The comfortable, swivel driver's seats feature seat heating and lumbar support. Adaptive cruise control makes driving very pleasant, even in slow-moving traffic. The LED headlights not only give the vehicle a stylish, sporty look, but also provide comfort with daytime running lights and automatic lighting.
Living and sleeping
The Knaus Tourer Cuvision 500 has air conditioning and diesel heating. In the rear of the vehicle there is a fixed bed measuring 2.00 m long and 1.37 m wide.
A seating area with a table and reading lamp offers space for four people thanks to the swivel driver and passenger seats.
The absolute highlight is the pop-up roof, which extends the height of the vehicle to approx. 2.70 m. This creates space for another slide-out bed above the seating area and driver's cab, which can accommodate two more people. The additional space is enclosed by an insulated textile layer that can withstand up to 3,000 mm of water column. This means that spending the night in the rain is no problem.
Inside, the pop-up roof gives the vehicle a very pleasant ceiling height. This also allows the kitchen and bathroom to be used ideally.
For relaxed outdoor living, a Thule awning with integrated LED lighting is installed, which always provides the necessary shade.
Kitchen and bathroom
The kitchenette includes a 2-burner gas stove and a sink. The associated waste water tank has a capacity of 58 liters, while the fresh water tank holds 65 liters. A compressor refrigerator with a volume of 98 liters is used to cool food. A 5-liter gas bottle for the gas stove, as well as the water tanks and the cassette for the toilet, are easily accessible from the outside through a service hatch.
The bathroom has a chemical toilet and a swivel sink. The mattress of the rear bed is divided into two parts. Next to the bathroom, one section can be pushed up to extend the bathroom with a full-size shower.

Stauraum
There is a generous storage space under the fixed bed in the rear of the Knaus Tourer Cuvision 500. It is accessible from two sides from the outside. The doors are 72.5 cm wide and 110 cm high, making it easy to store camping furniture or city bikes inside.
The standard registration of the Knaus Tourer Cuvision 500 is 3,200 kg, but can be extended to 3,500 kg. With a maximum unladen weight of 2,730 kg, there is plenty of scope for payload.
